Census Bureau: 72.3% of people in Yuba County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 80,404 citizens living in Yuba County in 2021, 72.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 58,106 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 29,364 were male, constituting 50.5%, and 28,742 were female, making up 49.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Yuba County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.2%.
