Colusa County announced on March 4 the launch of its official East Park reservation website, allowing residents and visitors to book campsites and purchase seasonal passes ahead of the park’s opening day on April 16.
The new online platform aims to simplify the process of planning outdoor activities at East Park, a popular destination in Colusa County. The county is encouraging community members and visitors to use the system for reserving campsites and obtaining Seasonal Day Use Passes. These passes are available at $50 for Colusa County residents and $100 for non-residents. Passes can also be purchased by mail or in person at 1215 Market Street in Colusa.
“We are thrilled to offer a streamlined, user-friendly reservation experience for our community and visitors,” said Colusa County Public Works Director Colt Esenwein. “East Park is a beautiful destination, and this new system will make it easier than ever for families and outdoor enthusiasts to plan their trips and enjoy everything the park has to offer.”
The reservation website can be accessed at visitcolusacounty.com.
Colusa County supports agriculture as a key economic driver while serving residents in northern California, according to the official website. The county delivers services through various departments such as administration, health, public works, and sheriff operations while facilitating community engagement through boards, public meetings, transparency initiatives like access to agendas and documents, as reported by the official website.
The county operates with a Board of Supervisors as its governing body according to its official site. It also offers online resources for permits, records, public notifications, emergency preparedness information, and emphasizes public safety as noted by county officials.
As preparations continue for East Park’s seasonal opening next month, officials say they hope that improved access will encourage more people from across northern California—and beyond—to explore what Colusa County has to offer.
