East Nicolaus High School issued the following announcement.
For the rest of this week and next we will Zoom on our regular Distance learning Schedule on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday like we have been. On Thursday and Friday we will be on a minimum day schedule. Spartans with last names of A-L will be on campus on Thursday the 29th and November 5th. Spartans with last names M-Z will be on campus Friday’s on October 30th and November 6th. Student who are NOT on campus, they will NOT be expected to Zoom into class. The days that students are NOT on campus, I expect them to access their Google classroom, APEX, ICEV, and Canvas areas and work on their assignments.
We sincerely respect our parents and students wishes to remain on long term independent study at this time; however as you are planning to stay on long term independent study, and then please see the above bullet point for the next two weeks. We will assume that you are working on your Google, APEX, and other classes on Thursday and Friday the next two weeks. We will take attendance on your participation in accessing your Google, APEX, and other accounts. Ms. Cheema will be your point of contact for this area. Please do not hesitate to reach to her for any additional information.
Once we begin our November 9th Hybrid schedule, we will have additional updates on what will be expected of students on the days that our Spartans are not physically present at school. This will be for both our on-site and independent study students.
